Arteriors Home was founded in 1987 by Mark Moussa, already a home accents veteran. After having grown up working in his father's import business, Moussa brought his love of travel and personalized home accessories to the design of Arteriors home decor and lighting. These early offerings tended strongly toward the traditional: bronze urns, turned solid brass lamps. But eventually, through increased collaborations with independent designers like Laura Kirar and Lisa Luby Ryan, Arteriors Home lighting and accessories have evolved into a broad spectrum of design styles. The sheer breadth of styles represented in the Arteriors line is matched only by the distinctive designs within each. The unique details of each table lamp, floor lamp, pendant and chandelier are designed to catch the eye and imagination in traditional, transitional and contemporary interiors. Arteriors Home lighting and home accessories are designed, as they state it, "with timeless appeal and a nod to latest trends." Fixtures from Arteriors are often featured in design-minded publications including Architectural Digest, Residential Lighting and HGTV Magazine. In 2010, Arteriors began its collaboration with noteworthy lighting and home furnishings designer Laura Kirar. |
