Formagenda is a German brand specialized in the production of lamps and accessories for indoor and outdoor. The lighting label Formagenda from Munich was founded in 2008 by Benjamin Hopf, who had previously built himself a reputation as an internationally successful designer of lights and furniture alongside Constantin Wortmann with their "Büro für Form". 
Contrasts and unusual combinations are at the core of Formagenda's designs – but without ever losing sight of aesthetics and functionality. Despite their reduced, clear form language, Formagenda's lights are never merely functional, but stand for emotion and personality. With references from different epochs or details from the fashion world, Hopf spins a net of associations providing each object with its own unique character. Each of the collection’s objects invites the observer to get involved with the interaction of form and perfectly manufactured material.

With the suspension lamp Cohiba, Formagenda won the Design Plus Award in 2008 and was nominated for the German Design Award in 2009. Like the table lamp El Senor, Cohiba creates its unique charme through the surprising combination of the most basic shapes with the high-value material leather. Other creations play with the impression of lightness and weight. The modern design and the superior quality of the company are reflected in suspension lamps with a strong character and shapes designed for every room in the house. A line of lighting in which the design does not overshadow the functionality and is completed with wall lamps, floor lamps and also table lamps.
