GranTorino Coupe bed

Jean-Marie Massaud revisits the compositional language of the GranTorino HB sofa to give form to the GranTorino Bed. The headboard is becoming a distinctive feature. Its large surface area and discreet X-stitching almost create a kind of panelling effect. However, its thickness is kept in check to provide a sense of lightness. Birch plywood is used for the structure of the headboard while the soft padding of the quilt is in polyester wadding. Sides in spruce blockboard and footboard in poplar plywood with light polyurethane foam padding. The bed is made in two different materials: leather Pelle Frau®  for the rear of the headboard and bedframe and Pelle Frau® fabric for the front quilting. The cylindrical aluminium feet in Pelle Frau® leather. Bedstead Base and Mattress are not included in the price.
